Tempest of Set: 10k+ Crit!

Well, it’s official. The 10,000 crit mark has been broken and only four weeks after launch which is an incredible achievement! This feat was achieved by Velspar of Tyranny, who also claims to have crit a chicken for even more (11,024)! Although Velspar had to utilize multiple buffs, this still shows the true dps potential of Tempests of Set.

So, is this definitive proof that Tempests of Set are overpowered or is this just an uncommon crit? Is there any other class capable of critting this high?

Attention Casters: Don’t Waste your Skill Points

Don\'t waste those skill points!A very small tip for all casters: do NOT start loading your skill points into casting concentration! Yes, it is important but you actually do not need that many points in order for your spells to not be interrupted. In fact, all that’s truly needed is ONE skill point. Yes, just one.

In my own personal experience one skill point has been enough to keep the spell interruptions at bay. I’ve also requested a demonologist in order to confirm that it works for multiple caster classes and not just mine (herald of xotli) and he has just sent his confirmation that it indeed works.

So go ahead and give it a try! Don’t waste those skill points on casting concentration when all it needs is one.

UPDATE: It seems that this trick was fixed with the newest patch (although it still works up to level 20), sorry to all those that missed out on this cool trick.
